Dear parents,
I have begun receiving links for parent newsletters from Youth Specialties. In it, you’ll find links to articles discussing being a parent of a teenager. Do with it what you wish. If you like these, let me know, and I’ll continue to pass them on. If you don’t, let me know, and I’ll stop. I’ll also post these on the blog. Thanks!
With it, I’ll put some info to be aware about for our youth ministry. Here are some dates to know about
We are helping people ravaged by tornadoes in Parkersburg, Iowa on Dec 6 (Sat). We’ll leave at 5 am (from the church) and can drop off your student when we get home (around 10 pm). We need a permission slip signed for this trip by November 30. You are welcome to attend this trip as well, since it is a Silver Creek Church Function.
On Dec 14, we will be joining Silver Creek to go caroling to Silver Creek’s shut ins, elderly, and others who need to be encouraged. We will be doing this from 1-4 pm. Later that evening, we will have our youth Christmas parties.
No SWIFT due to Christmas break on Dec 21 and Dec 28.
